Woods to Serve Three-Year Term on AGP Board of Trustees

Reston, Virginia – Densification, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of Vice President Chris Woods to the Academy of GeoProfessionals (AGP) Board of Trustees for a three-year term, starting 1 October 2024. The AGP Board of Trustees administers the Board-Certified Geotechnical Engineer (BC.GE) certification program. Paramount among the many responsibilities of the AGP Board are ensuring a high bar for practicing geotechnical engineers and overseeing application reviews and examinations of board- certification candidates. As a BC.GE since 2013, Woods has worked to elevate the professional through his involvement in key industry organizations, such as the Geo-Institute and the Deep Foundations Institute.

“I’m both humbled and excited at the opportunity to join the AGP Board. Working with the other trustees, who are held in such high regard within our industry, will be a tremendous learning experience. I hope to be able to bring some perspective from my career as both a consultant and a contractor to this group to help with mission of advancement of the geotechnical engineering profession,” said Woods.
