Vibration Monitoring – Management of construction-related vibrations is a primary challenge associated with the dynamic compaction process. As part of our value-added approach to serving our clients, we provide on-site vibration monitoring, helping the design team assess vibration levels so that the appropriate mitigation measures can be put in place. The first step taken on most of our jobs where vibrations are of concern is the development of a site-specific attenuation curve, which provides an understanding of how vibration magnitude dissipates with distance across a given project site. Data is collected in real time and provided daily, when required, to assist in project coordination.

Post-Improvement Testing and Analysis
Post-Improvement Testing and Analysis – Evaluating ground improvement projects is rarely a straightforward proposition. On some jobs, the program is dictated by the engineer; on others, performance criteria related to the proposed structure has to be achieved. In evaluating the latter, post-improvement testing (such as SPTs or CPTs) are carried out and evaluated with respect to anticipated settlement for a project. With licensure in over 25 states, Densification, Inc. is able to provide the necessary engineering services to evaluate whether a project has achieved the stated goals, providing documentation suitable for submission to most local jurisdictions.
Equipment Fleet
Equipment – Having a fleet of over 30 crawler cranes ranging in capacity from 40- to 165-tons, we have the resources to meet any size project. The centerpieces of our fleet are our Liebherr HS8100 cranes, which possess the capability of dropping a 25-ton weight from a height of up to 80-feet. Our fleet also includes a variety of American 700 and 900 Series crawler cranes capable of lifting weights from 10-tons with the 700 series cranes to 20-tons with the 900 series cranes.
